Cassidy Smith

Cassidy Smith is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Tampa office. She works in a variety of practice areas, but primarily premises liability, general liability, and automobile matters.

In 2020, Ms. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude. Ms. Smith continued her education at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2023.

During law school, Ms. Smith served as the Chief of Staff of the Loyola Law Moot Court Executive Board and competed in the American Bar Association National Appellate Moot Court Competition. She was the Online Editor of the Journal of Public Interest Law and awarded the CALI Award twice for the highest grade in Civil Procedure II and Loyola Law’s Criminal Prosecution Clinic. Ms. Smith was inducted into the Order of Barristers in 2023 for her service and dedication to Loyola’s Advocacy programs.

Ms. Smith participated in Wicker Smith’s Summer Associate program in 2022. After gaining significant experience with Wicker Smith partners on a variety of litigation matters, she returned to New Orleans to serve in Loyola’s Law Clinic as a Rule XX Student Practitioner in the felonies division of the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Smith joined Wicker Smith as an associate in 2023.
