Robert Saavedra

Robert Saavedra is an associate in the Jacksonville office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice, general liability, and transportation matters.

Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2026, Robert worked at another prominent Florida defense firm where he managed a busy caseload including medical malpractice, premises liability, and trucking and automobile negligence matters. He is experienced in all facets of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case reporting. Robert also spent a year as a law clerk at a plaintiff-side firm when he was in law school, which familiarized him with both sides of personal injury litigation.

Robert attended college at the University of North Florida, where he was a Dean’s List Scholar. He graduated in 2018 and spent time working in sales before deciding to continue his education at Stetson University College of Law, graduating with his J.D. in 2024.

In his free time, Robert enjoys golfing, live music, spending time at the beach, and attending Jacksonville Jaguars games.
