Matthew Costello

Matthew Costello is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses on general liability, retail, and transportation matters.

Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2026, Matthew worked at two other litigation firms in South Florida handling insurance defense, commercial litigation, and labor and employment matters. He has handled all facets of litigation including intake, reporting, discovery, motion practice, and mediation, and is familiar with the strategy and research required to bring a case to a successful resolution.

Matthew holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a law degree from Florida International University College of Law.

Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife and English Bulldog.
