Wicker Smith Opens Atlanta Office, Making it the Firm’s Second Location to Open This Year

MIAMI/ATLANTA – JUNE 14, 2021 – Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A., one of Florida’s leading law firms, announced the opening of its new office in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Wicker Smith continues to expand to meet a substantial increase in demand for the firm’s notable services in its existing practice areas of civil litigation including premises liability, transportation, negligent security, motor vehicle accidents and professional liability. Partner, Joseph P. Menello, will be leading the Atlanta office. Mr. Menello has over 20 years of experience defending professional and corporate institutions, as well as individuals throughout the state of Florida and beyond. The office is located at 3414 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 960, Atlanta, Georgia 30326.

Mr. Menello joined Wicker Smith in 1998. His civil trial practice focuses on the defense of professional and corporate institutions, as well as individuals throughout Georgia and Florida. He primarily handles cases covering a wide range of complex issues involving medical malpractice, premises liability, automobile liability, general civil litigation, and professional negligence. Mr. Menello is an active member of the Georgia Bar, Florida Bar, and the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Menello earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 1994 from Florida State University and continued his education on to receive his Juris Doctor with honors in 1998. He was admitted to practice in the State of Georgia in 2021 and the State of Florida in 1998. He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. Mr. Menello is an active member of The Florida Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (FLABOTA).
