Wicker Smith Welcomes Nine Attorneys to South Florida Offices
MIAMI & FORT LAUDERDALE – [September 8, 2015] – Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy and Ford P.A. is pleased to announce that attorneys Jaime J. Baca and Robert M. O’Malley have joined the firm as Partners and attorney Ryan M. Hutchinson has joined as an Associate effective immediately. This group of lawyers and their related staff specializes in the defense of automobile liability cases that involve significant spinal injuries.
Miami – Partner Jaime J. Baca focuses his practice on personal injury defense and automobile/trucking negligence defense and has tried more than 115 jury trials throughout the state of Florida. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration in 1992 and a Masters of Science in Finance from the Florida International University in 1994. Mr. Baca then went on to graduate cum laude from St. Thomas University of Law in 1997. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Baca worked in the business of insurance since 1987, as a commercial and personal lines insurance broker, an underwriter, a claims adjuster, and an insurance law instructor. He is also an active member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, Dade County Bar Association, The Society of chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, Florida Bar Association, and American Board of Trial Advocates.
The new Fort Lauderdale team members include Partner Robert M. O’Malley and Associate Ryan M. Hutchinson. With these recent additions, Wicker Smith now has more than 160 attorneys.
