Katherine Moran

Katherine L. Moran is an associate in the Naples office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on first party property and insurance coverage matters, as well as construction and premises liability litigation.

Katherine is an experienced first party property litigator, having spent ten years practicing in the field before joining Wicker Smith in 2025. She has worked at some of the most prominent firms in Florida representing the largest insurance companies in the state at all stages of litigation from case inception through discovery, mediation, motion practice, settlement, and trial. In addition to her outside counsel roles, she also spent two years as in-house counsel for a major insurer, handling assignment of benefits agreements.

Katherine holds a law degree from Hofstra Law School in Hempsted, New York, and an LLM in Energy Law & Policy from Vermont Law School.

Outside of the office, Katherine can be found playing guitar, reading, running, or baking.
