Jonathan Silverman

Jonathan Silverman is a shareholder in Wicker Smith’s Atlanta office. After six years with the firm in the Naples office, Jonathan joined the firm’s expansion into Georgia, and together with Joe Menello, they opened the Atlanta office in 2021. In just a few years they grew from a team of two to more than a dozen lawyers, representing clients not only in the metro Atlanta area but throughout the entire state of Georgia.

Jonathan has handled a wide variety of matters throughout his career. As a young lawyer, he started out trying premises liability, auto negligence and negligent security cases with some of the firm’s senior trial attorneys throughout Southwest Florida. He went on to work in medical malpractice, general and premises liability, trucking negligence, construction defect litigation, and more recently, insurance coverage and bad faith claims and professional liability matters. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, multi-national corporations, and some of the biggest insurers in the United States in complex litigation in both Florida and Georgia.

This diverse wealth of experience makes Jonathan uniquely suited for complex litigation. His clients trust him to handle highly contentious, multi-party cases such as wrongful death and mass casualty events, catastrophic injury, and toxic torts. As a litigation attorney in one of the toughest civil jurisdictions in the United States, Jonathan is adept at navigating cases to a successful resolution in the modern litigation landscape.

A Miami native, Jonathan holds an undergraduate and a master’s degree from the University of Miami, and a law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. When he’s not working, he enjoys exploring Georgia with his family and cheering for the Miami Hurricanes.
