Alexander Wicks

Alexander Wicks is an associate in the Jacksonville office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice, professional liability, and general liability matters.

Alex graduated cum laude from the Jacksonville University College of Law in 2025, where he was the Executive Editor of the Jacksonville University Law Review. He earned Book Awards in Contracts II, Intellectual Property Law, and Family Law. Alex has ties to the Jacksonville area, also earning a master’s degree in management from the University of North Florida in 2021.

Starting in 2017, and throughout the course of his education, Alex maintained a position as a legal research assistant with one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in Florida. Here, he gained invaluable experience and first-hand knowledge of the practice of corporate and business law. He was a summer associate at Wicker Smith in 2024 and became a full-time associate with the firm upon his admission to the Florida Bar in 2025.

When he is not working, Alex enjoys cooking with his family, playing golf, and cheering for New York sports teams.
