ORLANDO – February 5, 2019 – Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A., in its commitment to diversity, has established a relationship with the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) College of Law with the creation of a two-semester clerkship.  The first recipient of the clerkship is Jasmine DeLeon.

Jasmine DeLeon is in her second year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law. She is in the top 15% of her class and is an active board member for the Moot Court Honor Society. She has competed in multiple appellate moot court competitions and has placed second for advocacy in the International Academy of Dispute Resolution mediation competition. In all, Ms. DeLeon aspires to be a voice for others by developing the skills necessary to litigate any problem a future client may have.
