Biography

Shane Chernoff is an associate in Wicker Smith’s West Palm Beach office where he focuses his practice on matters involving automotive, construction, insurance coverage & bad faith, premises liability and product liability.
In 2013, Mr. Chernoff earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida with a major in Telecommunication. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Chernoff was a member of the FSU Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law and Florida State University College of Law Business Review. He was also awarded with the Most Outstanding Write-On Submission, Distinguished Pro Bono Service award and the Taxation I Book Award. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2017, Mr. Chernoff served as a law clerk for an insurance litigation law firm in Deerfield Beach, and as a law clerk for a medical malpractice and family law firm in Tallahassee.
Mr. Chernoff was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2017 and is an active member of the Florida Bar and Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is also a certified Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator.
