Biography

Rebecca D. Bovinet is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith where she currently devotes her practice to medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, commercial litigation, construction law, insurance defense, and automobile negligence.

In 2013, Mrs. Bovinet graduated summa cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a double major in Political Science and Social Science and a minor in Sociology. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Mrs. Bovinet attended Florida International University College of Law as a Dean’s Merit Scholar. In 2017, she earned her Juris Doctor graduating fifth in her class. While in law school, Mrs. Bovinet served as the Editor-in-Chief of the FIU Law Review and an active member of the FIU Law Board of Advocates.

Mrs. Bovinet is admitted to practice in the State of Florida as well as the Southern District of Florida. She is a good standing member of The Florida Bar. In addition, she has also accepted an offer from The Florida Bar to serve as one of its graders, a position offered based on her high test score and moral fitness.
