Raychel Garcia is a partner in Wicker Smith’s Orlando office where she focuses her practice on premises liability, professional liability, and general civil litigation matters.
In 2008, Ms. Garcia graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a double major in Political Science and Psychology. From there she attended Stetson University College of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2011. While in law school, Ms. Garcia was the recipient of the esteemed Victor O. Wehl Trial Advocacy Award and the Judge E.J. Salcines Scholarship. She was also an active member of the Federalist Society, Student Bar Association, Student Leadership Development Council and the Shadow Trial Team. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2014, Ms. Garcia worked at the State Attorney’s Office of the 9th Judicial Circuit where she handled cases in the criminal, drug, special victims and juvenile units. For her exemplary work, Ms. Garcia was awarded the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Award.
Ms. Garcia was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2011 and is a member of The Florida Bar, Junior League of Greater Orlando Chair and City of Altamonte Spring Zoning Appeals Board.
