Nicole NavarroNicole Navarro Nicole Navarro is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where she focuses primarily on medical malpractice and healthcare matters. Ms. Navarro graduated from Florida International University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., in 2018. During law school, Ms. Navarro worked as a legal extern at the United States Department of Justice in the Capital Case Section, and at the Montgomery County State Attorney’s Office as a Certified Student Attorney. Upon her admission to the Bar, she returned home to Florida and joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney. During her tenure there, she managed hundreds of criminal cases, including over one hundred first-degree felony cases, and tried ten jury trials to verdict.
