Michael G. Polatsek is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith where he handles civil litigation, class action litigation, commercial litigation, legal malpractice, pharmaceutical & medical devices, product liability and professional liability cases.
Born in New York City, Mr. Polatsek grew up in Fort Lauderdale and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Fine Arts from the University of Florida in 2009. He continued his studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2014. While in law school, Mr. Polatsek was the Executive Symposium Editor of the Florida Law Review and a teaching assistant for legal research & writing and appellate advocacy courses. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Mr. Polatsek worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark W. Klingensmith at the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal.
Mr. Polatsek was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2014 and is an active member of the Florida Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association.
