Mary HockerMary Hocker Mary Kaitlin Hocker is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Atlanta office. She works in a variety of practice areas, primarily general liability, retail and construction. Ms. Hocker attended the University of Georgia, where she double-majored in English and Spanish. She graduated summa cum laude in 2020, and continued her education at University of Georgia Law School, earning her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2023. During law school, she served on both the Editorial Board and Managing Board of The Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Her note, Dropping the Mic on Indie Artists: How Trademark Law Fails to Protect Independent Artists Against Music Industry Giants, was published in Volume 30, of which she also served as the Executive Editor. She also earned the CALI Book Award in Immigration Law. As a law student, Ms. Hocker gained extensive experience in various public interest practice areas. She served as a student attorney at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Community Health Law Partnership, and Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic.
