Mark A. Cavins

Mark A. Cavins is an Associate in the Melbourne office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses mostly on automobile negligence, premises liability and transportation liability.

Mark holds an Associate’s Degree from Brevard Community College and Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida with a minor in Criminal Justice. He attended law school at Barry University School of Law in Orlando, where he earned a Book Award in Environmental Ethics.

Admitted to the bar in 2016, Mark has worked on both the plaintiff and defense side of the aisle throughout his career. As a young lawyer, he spent six years working in the office of a sole practitioner in Brevard County, handling personal injury cases from start to finish. He later transitioned to a defense firm in the area, where he honed his skills in discovery, motion practice, and pre-suit defense. He joined Wicker Smith in 2025.

Mark was raised in Brevard County, Florida. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, going to theme parks, exploring the outdoors and traveling.
