Madeleine KarasMadeleine Karas Madeleine Karas is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Naples office handling matters in premises liability, auto accidents, construction, medical malpractice, general negligence, and breach of contracts claims. In 2018, Mrs. Karas earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Florida State University, majoring in criminology and criminal justice and obtaining minors in business and psychology. She then continued her education at Ave Maria School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor and placed on the Dean’s list for three consecutive years. During law school, she served as vice president and active member of the Moot Court team. Mrs. Karas also competed in the Notre Dame Religious Freedom Competition. Additionally, she held a teaching assistant position at the Research, Writing, and Advocacy Department at Ave Maria School of Law. Prior to joining Wicker Smith as an associate, she worked as a law clerk at the firm as a part-time clerk for a year-and-a-half assisting with cases in premises liability, auto accidents, construction, general negligence, and breach of contracts claims. She also held a legal internship Hertz Global Headquarters concentrating in contracts, real estate, marketing, and compliance matters. Mrs. Karas was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2021 and is an active member of the Florida Bar Association.
