Lindsey N. Burgos is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Orlando office where she focuses her practice on matters involving civil litigation, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.
In 2013, Mrs. Burgos earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida with a major in Criminology and a minor in Family, Youth and Community Sciences. Mrs. Burgos graduated cum laude and was a Dean’s List scholar during her undergraduate career. She then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2017, graduating cum laude and in the top 10% of her class. She was a Dean’s List scholar during her graduate career and received a Book Award in Copyrights and Distinguished Class Performance in Legal Research and Writing and Contracts.
Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Ms. Burgos served as a clerk for the Florida Senate where she researched complex issues in the area of regulated industries. She also clerked for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania where she drafted opinions and orders for judicial review. Mrs. Burgos was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2017 and is an active member of the Florida Bar and Orange County Bar Association.
