Lekwon ImokeLekwon Imoke Lekwon K. Imoke is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith, where she focuses her practice on automobile negligence, professional liability, and medical malpractice. Ms. Imoke graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Political Science in 2011. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Imoke spent several years working and living in the New York City area. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2021. While in law school, Ms. Imoke was an active member of the Moot Court Society. During her second year she was selected to compete in the 2020 E. Earle Zehmer National Workers’ Compensation Competition, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the pandemic. In her third year she competed in the 2021 National Online Moot Court Competition. She was also a member of and held executive board positions in the Black Law Students Association, and the Family Law Society. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Ms. Imoke worked in family law. In both her first and second year she was a Judicial Intern to The Honorable Tarlika Nunez-Navarro in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. She also volunteered her time as a legal intern at various organizations, including the Florida Department of Children and Families, and Nova Southeastern University’s Children and Families Law Clinic, where she had the privilege of being the clinic’s only Certified Legal Intern. Collectively, these experiences contributed to over 400 pro bono hours. Ms. Imoke is a proud recipient of the Pro Bono Honors, Gold Award. When she isn’t working, Ms. Imoke enjoys meditation, cooking, and spending time with her Pomeranian, Ivy. Professional & Civic Affiliations
