Kelly D. Barnes is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Orlando office where she focuses her practice on matters involving civil litigation and premises liability.
In 2013, Mrs. Barnes earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. She then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Mrs. Barnes received a CALI Award of Excellence in Legal Research and Writing and also served as the Editor-in-Chief for the FSU College of Law Business Review.
Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2018, Mrs. Barnes worked in corporate law for a firm specializing in the authentication of legal documents. Mrs. Barnes was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2017 and is an active member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, American Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta. When not practicing law, she enjoys traveling, reading, photography and spending quality time with her husband and three daughters.
