Katherine van DijkKatherine van Dijk Katherine “Katie” van Dijk is an associate in the Tampa office of Wicker Smith, focusing her practice on medical malpractice, transportation, and products liability matters. Ms. van Dijk attended Florida State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Criminology in 2017, and her Juris Doctor from the College of Law in 2020. During law school, Ms. van Dijk served as a Student Ambassador for the FSU College of Law, as well as an Article and Notes Editor for the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law, a staff editor at the Business Review, and a member of the FSU Student Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Nesle A. Rodriguez, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, and also spent time as a legal intern for The Innocence Project of Florida, where she provided research and recommendations on which cases to accept. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Ms. van Dijk worked at a firm in the greater Orlando area, defending physicians, hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes in medical malpractice matters. Katherine “Katie” van Dijk is an associate in the Tampa office of Wicker Smith, focusing her practice on medical malpractice, transportation, and products liability matters.
