Julio AyalaJulio Ayala Julio Ayala is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where he works on healthcare, negligent security, professional liability and transportation matters. Mr. Ayala received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, where he was also a member of the school’s varsity football team. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2019. During law school he served as the Vice President of the Cuban American Bar Association and maintained a spot on the Dean’s List for five semesters. Prior to graduation, he completed several legal internships and clerkships, including the US Department of Homeland Security in Miami and The Wilderness Society in Denver. Before joining Wicker Smith in 2022, Mr. Ayala spent three years as a prosecutor at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he worked on County Court cases, Juvenile Division cases, and Class B and Class C felony cases.
