Jessica FernandezBiographyJessica C. Fernandez is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Tampa office, where she handles litigation in automotive matters, civil law and premises liability. Ms. Fernandez earned a Bachelor of Science cum laude in food and resource economics in 2014 and a Master of Science in agricultural communication and education in 2015 from the University of Florida. She continued her studies at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, receiving a Juris Doctor in 2018 and a Book Award for internet and computer law. While in law school, she placed on the Dean’s List for two consecutive years following outstanding commitment to her studies and served as the executive symposium editor to the Florida Law Review. Ms. Fernandez worked at a plaintiff personal injury law office for a year before her position at Wicker Smith. She also held a legal internship at a regional litigation firm. Since 2019, Ms. Fernandez has been admitted to practice law in The State of Florida. She is a certified Florida County mediator who speaks fluent Spanish and holds memberships within the Florida Bar and Junior League of Tampa. She describes herself as dedicated, inquisitive, and analytical. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being out on the water, traveling, and being an avid spinner.
