Jay SilversteinBiographyJay Silverstein is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office where he works in a variety of practice areas, but primarily in commercial litigation, mass tort law, and class action matters. Jay attended Middlebury College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Studio Art, graduating magna cum laude in 2019. He continued his education at University of Miami School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2024. During law school, he received the Director’s Book Award for Excellence in Litigation Skills, CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Evidence and Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Law Firm Management. He was also the Law School Admissions Ambassador and recipient of the John Cyril Malloy Intellectual Property Law Endowed Memorial Scholarship. Prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2024, Jay served as a summer associate at a prestigious international, multi-practice law firm where he assisted in a variety of Federal and State securities matters in U.S. and cross-boarder markets, equity and debt securities offerings, ESOP transactions, and a variety of corporate compliance functions.
