James J. Ellison is an associate in the Naples office where his practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice, premises liability defense, and construction.
Mr. Ellison earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with a double major in Political Science and Legal Studies. He then continued his studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was an editor for the University of Florida Levin College of Law Journal of Law and Public Policy. While serving on the journal, Mr. Ellison was also a member of the Articles Committee. While in law school, Mr. Ellison completed an externship with the Office of the Public Defender in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. Prior to graduating law school, Mr. Ellison served as a law clerk in an insurance claim dispute firm in Tampa, where he assisted by drafting motions and conducting legal research.
Mr. Ellison is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is an active member of the Florida Bar. Outside of practicing law, James enjoys sports, personal fitness, and all things related to wildlife.
