Biography

Christopher K. Walker is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Jacksonville office where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, premises liability, slip & fall, and general negligence matters.

In 2012, Mr. Walker graduated magna cum laude from University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing, and a minor in Mathematics. While in attending undergraduate, he served as drum major for the UM “Band of the Hour” Marching Band. Mr. Walker then continued his studies at Michigan State University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2015 and graduated summa cum laude. While attending law school, Mr. Walker had the pleasure of being an Extern to the Honorable Timothy J. Corrigan for the Middle District of Florida where he reviewed dockets, researched motions and drafted proposed court orders. He also earned multiple Jurisprudence Achievement Awards, served as a finalist in prestigious competitions, and was the Senior Articles Editor for the Michigan State Law Review.   Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Mr. Walker served as a staff attorney for the Florida Supreme Court where he handled bar discipline cases, rules and jury instruction cases, and writ petitions.

Admitted to practice in the state of Florida in 2015, Mr. Walker is a good standing member of The Florida Bar and an active member of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
