Christian Osorno CortesChristian Osorno Cortes Christian Osorno Cortes is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office handling cases in healthcare law and professional liability. In 2017, Mr. Osorno earned a Bachelor of Arts from Nova Southeastern University with a major in political science and a minor in entrepreneurship. He then continued his education at Florida International University College of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2021 and placed on the Dean’s List for two consecutive years. During law school, Mr. Osorno was an active member in the FIU College of Law Board of Appellate Advocates and staff member of the FIU Law Review from 2019 to 2020. He also held the position of Executive Articles Editor on the FIU Law Review editorial board from 2020 to 2021, where he supervised and conducted final reviews throughout the editorial process. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Mr. Osorno served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge John O’Sullivan in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, a legal intern for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Osorno is admitted to practice in Florida and speaks Spanish fluently. He is an active member of the Federal Bar association.
