Carlos Collazos

Carlos Collazos is an associate in Wicker Smith’s West Palm Beach office, focusing primarily on commercial litigation, retail, transportation liability, premises liability, and general negligence matters.

Mr. Collazos attended Florida International University, double-majoring in Political Science and International Relations. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015, and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2018. While in law school, he was a 3L Representative with the ACLU and was named to the Dean’s List on multiple occasions. He also interned on a campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. Collazos brings three years of experience in civil litigation to his practice at Wicker Smith. Before joining the firm in 2023, he worked for another well-known Florida firm defending first party property, negligent security, premises liability, auto negligence, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and liquor liability matters.

Prior to shifting his career towards the law, Mr. Collazos worked in the medical field. Originally from Cali, Colombia, he is fluent in Spanish. In his free time, Mr. Collazos enjoys traveling, physical fitness, esports and gaming, catching up on movies, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family.
