Hawkins is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Tampa office where he focuses on construction defect, contract law, healthcare matters, products liability, professional liability, retail law, and transportation issues. Mr. Hawkins graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2021 with a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. While in law school he was honored with the Carol R. Samuels Unsung Hero Student Leadership Award, the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award, and the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award. Mr. Hawkins graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2006. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Mr. Hawkins served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Previously, he was an enlisted service member in the United States Navy. Mr. Hawkins is a retired United States Marine Corps officer who is admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
