Amaia Sanz de Acedo

Amaia Sanz de Acedo is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office. Her practice is focused on automotive, civil litigation, and premises liability matters. In 2015, Ms. Sanz de Acedo graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then received a Juris Doctor from Florida International University in 2019, placing on the Dean’s list for three consecutive years and graduating cum laude.

During her time at FIU, Ms. Sanz de Acedo was the executive business editor of the FIU Law Review and a member of the FIU Moot Court Team. She then began her legal career as a law clerk with Wicker Smith in 2018 and was admitted to practice in the State of Florida the following year.

Fluent in Spanish, she is dedicated to serving the diverse South Florida community. Her pastimes involve traveling and spending time with family and friends.
