Alex P. Bergida is an Associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office where his practice focuses primarily on aviation, constriction, medical malpractice, premises liability and product liability litigation matters.
In 2014, Mr. Bergida graduated from Florida State University where he received a double major in Political Science and Sociology, and a minor in International Affairs. He continued his studies and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2018. While in law school, Mr. Bergida served as the general counsel for the SBA Judicial branch and secretary of the Public Interest Law Students Association. He was also the recipient of the distinguished FSU Pro Bono Award which recognizes the public service or legal aid performed by a law student who has provided outstanding contributions to those in need of legal services. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, he served as legal extern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida and also a Certified Legal Intern at the 15th Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Bergida was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2018. He is an active member of The Florida Bar, Young Lawyers Division. Outside of practicing the law, he enjoys being a gym enthusiast, spending time with his Staffordshire Terrier and being a devoted Red Sox fan.
