Adam David Rieth is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Tampa office where he focuses his practice on medical malpractice, premises liability, automobile negligence and general civil litigation.
In 2008, Mr. Rieth earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida with a major in Public Relations and a minor in History, graduating cum laude. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2011. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2014, Mr. Rieth served as an Assistant State Attorney in and for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. During that time, Mr. Rieth litigated thousands of cases ranging from Misdemeanors to Second Degree Murder, brought over thirty jury trials to verdict, and was selected as a governor-appointed prosecutor to litigate several conflict cases in neighboring Hillsborough County, Florida.
Additionally, during his law school career Mr. Rieth served as a judicial intern for the 13th Judicial Circuit, Civil Division; clerked with a well-known Tampa plaintiff’s firm specializing in automobile-accident litigation; and earned a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy.
Mr. Rieth was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2011 and is an active member of the Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Tampa Preparatory School Alumni Association and Tampa Bay Gator Club.
