The National society daughters of the American revolution monthly luncheon meeting

San Jose Country Club
Jacksonville, Florida
Date: November 15, 2008

Speaker: Richard E. Ramsey

Wicker Smith Attorney Richard E. Ramsey will be speaking on the Constitution in our daily lives.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded on October 11, 1890, during a time that was marked by a revival in patriotism and intense interest in the beginnings of the United States of America. Women felt the desire to express their patriotic feelings and were frustrated by their exclusion from men's organizations formed to perpetuate the memory of ancestors who fought to make this country free and independent. As a result, a group of pioneering women in the nation's capital formed their own organization and the Daughters of the American Revolution has carried the torch of patriotism ever since.

Fall 2008 USLAW Network Client Conference

Session II

Food and Beverage establishment liability: debunking cases through science & research

Wynn
Las Vegas, NV
Date: September 10 - 13, 2008

Moderator: Constantine "Dean" Nickas

This program is not for the faint of heart. It will address means by which food service establishments can defend against claims that pests or foreign objects were allegedly “found” in their food. Our panel of industry and legal experts will demonstrate the CSI means by which to refute claims that “I found a mouse in my sandwich” or “There’s a frog in my salad.” Additionally, we will address incubation periods for the typical viral and bacterial illnesses that plaintiff’s frequently claim was contracted at their local restaurant, all the while denying vehemently that their illness could have been caused by bad food safety practices in the home.

This event is by invitation only.
