Biography

 

Adam W. Rhys joined Wicker Smith in 2000 and is a partner in the West Palm Beach office.

 

Mr. Rhys has a broad array of complex and multi-party general litigation and medical malpractice litigation experience.  An "AV" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, he has tried numerous cases on behalf of the firm’s clients throughout the state of Florida.  Mr. Rhys’ general litigation experience includes matters involving labor and employment, real estate, construction litigation, personal injury and insurance defense.  Mr. Rhys also has a vast amount of experience representing healthcare professionals and hospitals in medical malpractice and other related matters.  He has given numerous lectures to medical staffs, employees and Boards of Trustees for client hospitals. 

 

Mr. Rhys is admitted to practice in the state of New York, New Jersey and Florida.  He received his B.A. degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

In a medical malpractice/wrongful death suit, client was dismissed from the case after 2 weeks in trial. The final judgment was a plaintiff’s verdict for 4.3 million dollars against the remaining defendant.
