Kurt M. Spengler Biography Kurt M. Spengler, a partner in the Orlando office, is a board certified trial lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. He has tried over 40 civil jury trials including multiple wrongful death claims, amputations, paraplegia and other catastrophic damage claims. His practice focuses on matters concerning general liability, medical malpractice and commercial motor vehicle accidents, representing national corporation such as Landstar System, Armellini Express Lines, Western Express, Vanliner Insurance, Toys “R” Us, The Medical Protective and ProAssurance Group.
An ardent litigator, Kurt’s personal philosophy that results are what counts has earned him an “AV” rating from his peers, the highest level rating awarded to lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell. Among the many distinctions he has received over his 20-year career, he was most recently named “2006 Best of the Bar” by the Orlando Business Journal, “Florida’s 2007 Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine and listed in Florida Super Lawyers 2008.
In 1984, Kurt received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and continued his studies to earn a Juris Doctor in 1987. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Transportation Law Association, Defense Research Institute and recently appointed to the American Board of Trial Advocates, a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
