James D. Murdock, II Biography
James D. Murdock, II joined Wicker Smith in 2008 and is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office.
The majority of his work focuses on defending medical malpractice claims and other general litigation matters. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, James served two years as an Assistant Attorney General for Florida, where he gained valuable litigation experience, handling federal civil rights lawsuits against state employees, forfeitures, premises liability claims and administrative law hearings.
James received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in 2005. During his undergraduate studies, he was named an All Atlantic Coast Conference Athlete in Track and Field in 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia in 2002.
