Gary I. Masel Biography
Gary I. Masel joined Wicker Smith in 2006 and is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office. Mr. Masel practices in both the state and federal courts, focusing on aviation, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, commercial litigation, and representing banking institutions in collection, foreclosure, and deficiency actions.
Mr. Masel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University in 1994. He earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors in 2006. While in law school, Mr. Masel was a travel team member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a Finalist of the Feinrider Moot Court Competition in 2003-2004 (out of 150 competitors). He also worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Office of the State Attorney, 17th Judicial Circuit, in the Criminal Division.
He is admitted to practice in both the state of Florida and Kentucky. He is an active member in the Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
